Fernanda Roman
Attorney
Inspired by her love for debate competitions in high school, Fernanda decided to pursue a career that would allow her to advocate for others. As a first-generation undergraduate and graduate student, becoming a lawyer once felt out of reach. That changed her final year in college, when she met a family law attorney who served the Spanish-speaking community. Interning with her introduced Fernanda to family law and solidified her passion for helping families navigate challenging moments in their lives. That experience helped lead Fernanda through law school and helped her graduate with a clear purpose: to build a career in family law, helping one family at a time.
As a Spanish-speaking professional, Fernanda is committed to serving the Hispanic community and fostering clear and respectful communication. She has helped many families across Texas and understands that family law matters are deeply personal. For that reason, Fernanda is dedicated to guiding clients through these challenges with clarity, compassion and a commitment to protecting what matters most to them.
Fernanda earned her Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law, where she was a member of the Board of Barristers and the Hispanic Law Student Association. During law school, she gained hands-on experience representing low-income clients in family law matters in partnership with Legal Aid of Northwest Texas.
Fernanda developed a strong foundation in family law through internships with private family law firms, the Collin County District Attorney’s Office- Family Justice Division, and a judicial internship with the 134th Civil District Court in Dallas County. These experiences provided her with valuable insight into both private practice and the judicial system, making her a trusted and well-rounded advocate for her clients.
Fernanda is committed to providing thoughtful, strategic representation while guiding clients through some of life’s most challenging moments. Outside the office Fernanda enjoys long-distance running and reading a good book.
Fernanda ofrece atención legal en español y está comprometida a brindar una representación clara, accesible y profesional.
