My case came with significant challenges—I had previously lost custody through CPS, and I also received a DWI while the case was ongoing. I want all to know that Mr. David Wynne’s representation in my court case has given me not only the impression but the confidence that being an attorney, especially in family court, takes a special person with a heart that is understanding and compassionate for their clients and involves extreme knowledge of the Texas Family Laws that, as I know now, is an ever-changing living entity. When we started this cause, it was going to be a simple visitation request so I could spend a few hours a week with my son. Mr. Wynne was straightforward on what I should expect and how we should approach everything in regards to the case, which was very important to me because I had never had to be involved with anything of this sort and was completely unaware of what to do. From our first consultation, I felt a sense of relief and confidence that he would do everything he could to help me. His honesty, confidence, and knowledge of Family Law was proven to be not only evident throughout my case but exceptional and extremely beneficial to the brilliant outcome. Our case quickly turned into a custody battle when abuse and neglect of the child was determined, and from there, without hesitation, he jumped right in and with all the confidence you would want your attorney to have when it involves protecting someone you love. As I had mentioned before, this was a lengthy case, and with each court date, Mr. Wynne was always prepared for the known and unknown. I don’t know what was said, but the father texted me later that day, telling me, 'David is a really good guy, I wish we could use him' – to me that epitomizes who David Wynne is as an attorney and as a person.

I had a very difficult case. My ex lied to the police and set me up to permanently lose visitation with my son. My attorney quit on me, but my paralegal Angelia believed in me, stuck with me, and fought for me. She made it known to every lawyer in the office that she was sticking with me, and after a year of patience and putting my faith in her, I now have 50/50 custody. You do not find paralegals with such conviction and determination very often. With the way this state views and treats fathers, I was dealing with an unwinnable situation, but with her help, support, and encouragement, I now have my son back in my life.
